Who is responsible
David Zbinden, TimeKraft, Grand-Rue 29, 1110 Morges, Switzerland. For any question about your data: david@timekraft.ch.
When you browse
No account. Until you accept something, pages contact no site other than biviorando.ch: fonts, maps, images and videos come from our own server. An automated test checks this on every hike page.
Your location is never requested. Train times, weather and snow are read by our server from opentransportdata.swiss, MeteoSwiss and the SLF using the hike name only, never your IP address.
Audience and ad measurement, only with your consent
On your first visit, a banner asks for your consent. If you accept, the site loads Google Tag Manager and, depending on your choice, Google Analytics 4 (Google), which counts page views and what is used (3D flight, track download, question to Bob, review sent), and the Meta and TikTok pixels, which measure the effect of our ads. These services set cookies and receive your IP address; Google, Meta and TikTok may process this data outside Switzerland, in particular in the United States.
If you decline, none of this loads. Your choice is kept in your browser for 6 months, then asked again. You can change it at any time with the “Cookies” link at the bottom of every page.
In your browser
Two things are kept in the open tab (session storage), never on our side: your conversation with Bob and the route you picked on a hike page. They disappear when you close the tab.
When you write a review
We keep what you fill in: date of the hike, starting point, trail conditions, rating, "would do it again", chosen words, your story and a first name. The first name can be a nickname; no email address is asked for.
We also keep a fingerprint of your IP address: a code calculated from the address, a secret and today's date, so it changes every day. The address itself is never stored. The fingerprint is used only to limit abuse (at most 3 reviews per hour, one review per hike per day).
No review is published before it has been read. Reviews are stored in a database used only by Bivio, on our server in Switzerland, and are kept for as long as they are published. Write to david@timekraft.ch to have yours removed.
When you talk to Bob or the assistant
To answer, our server sends your messages, together with public hike data (figures, weather, timetables), to Anthropic, PBC, in the United States, which provides the AI model. Neither your IP address nor any identifier is sent.
According to its data retention page, Anthropic deletes these messages from its servers within 30 days. We do not keep the conversation. Please do not include personal information in your questions.
To limit abuse, our server counts messages per IP address and per minute, in memory only, without ever writing it down.
Hosting
The site, the service and the review database are hosted on a server of Infomaniak Network SA in Geneva, Switzerland.
Your rights
You can ask what data we hold about you, and have it corrected or deleted, by writing to david@timekraft.ch. We reply within 30 days. You can also contact the Federal Data Protection and Information Commissioner.
